Assassination Discount - Is $2000 Too Much to Pay For an Internet Marketing Course?

If you've been involved in Internet Marketing for a few years, you've probably seen the launch of hundreds of new programs and software geared towards making money online. These programs are generally divided into 2 categories:

• Courses to teach you a specific method or income stream for making money online

• Software that enhances or automates some of the common daily processes you do in internet marketing, like keyword research, submitting articles, or building backlinks

Some of these programs are free and very useful, like Google's External Keyword Tool or the Wordpress blog creation platform. Some provide some automation for one specific process, like submitting to RSS feeds, with an appropriately small price tag, like $29 - $99.

Then there's the Big Boys:

• The software programs that package many important functions together in one suite, and charge a hefty monthly continuity "rent," such as SENuke, for $127 per month (over $1500 per year,) and

• The online money making courses that can carry a steep purchase price.

Lately, you may have noticed a trend towards higher & higher prices. Whereas not too long ago you could nab a well-rounded course in affiliate marketing, like Commission Blueprint or George Brown's Google Sniper for around $100-$250, many current courses and done-for-you business solutions are running $500 - $1000 bucks. In the first six months of 2010, at least once each month, a new "all-in-one" system was launched at the $1997 price point, a frighteningly frequent figure these days. One current example is The Assassination Product Launch Course

Newcomers to internet marketing look at this and gasp, "Who can afford that? Only the people who don't need it, because they're already making steady income online. But for us newcomers, the ones who have little or no website knowledge and no internet income, the ones who really need this training, it prices us completely out of the market."

I understand this feeling. I too have balked at some of the steep price points for programs I really wanted to try out, but could not afford. Further ingratiating is finding out that many of those prices could be cut by half if the course creator wasn't offering lofty $500 - $1000 commissions to their affiliates.

Wanting the course launchers to be more reasonable in their prices is a fair-enough request. But this kind of thinking can also be limiting.

Sure, some of them are charging these high fees just to make a killing online, but many are setting such a high price to winnow out the tire-kickers and whiners. They've had past experience with being spread too thin supporting a bunch of IM wannabees who expect to pay a small price, do next to nothing, and get rich quick online. They only want to work with people who are serious and willing to work their method HARD, every day, to achieve success. And they figure the high price will scare off those less serious about actually doing the necessary work.

But more important than their attitude is your attitude. Sure, you must do your due diligence to investigate both the course creators and the course itself. Great, honest ratings & reviews for most internet marketing courses can be found on the esteemed Warrior Forum. Membership is free.

Beyond that, your own perspective may need a tune-up. Think about it:

How much should a course should cost, that can potentially provide you with a fine living for the rest of your life? How much would it cost you, right now, in education costs, rent, inventory and promotion, to start any other business - a clothing shop, a plumbing service, a restaurant? Anywhere from $25,000 to $250,000. And while many are quick to point out that there's no guarantee of success with any of these internet marketing businesses, there's no guarantee your restaurant, shop or service business will succeed either, and you'll lose a lot more money if they fail.

Using The Assassination Course as an example, internet millionaire Greg Jacobs has promised to show you exactly how he made his millions, included ALL the tools, training and support you'll need to accomplish it (including tools he himself did not have at his disposal when he launched his products,) and backed it all up with a full refund guarantee.

If you're thinking of buying this course and skimming through it, or not really applying yourself to the hard-work tasks before you, by all means, do not buy it!

But if you are ready to totally absorb everything in the course and work hard to accomplish your goals, you are investing in yourself, and in a business that could potentially provide you with a very comfortable lifestyle.

Is $2000 too much to pay for a program that can provide you with many times that, many thousands of dollars every month? Compared to so many other business opportunities, it's a small, fractional price to pay.

Read, research and become informed about whether any of these programs is right for you. But don't jump to conclusions based on sticker-shock alone. If a course matches up well with your desired business model and you income goals, even twice $2000 will seem like a modest investment when you and your family look back on it in the coming bountiful years.

3 Essentials For Product Launch Marketing Success

For your product launch to be successful, make a ton of sales and deliver real value to your target market, you need an effective product launch marketing strategy. This will make the difference between getting a "Wow!" from your customers and being ignored by your. Appropriate product launch marketing can ultimately mean the difference between the success or failure for your product.

Yet, the path to an appropriate and successful product launch marketing strategy isn't always clear.

Listening to the advice of the experts, or the so-called experts, and being able to distill it down into something truly useful and effective can be tough. Fortunately, there are some common threads you'll find woven into just about every piece of advice you'll hear or read.

Here are three of the most essential principles to keep in mind when making your product launch marketing plan:

Understand Your Target Market

First off, you need to know your audience really well and have a realistic expectation of how your product will resonate with them. Start-up companies often talk about "market domination". This takes time so its best to start with a more realistic approach.

Your product is not, at least the first time you launch it, likely to be at the top of everyone's radar. So, what you need to do is develop a launch strategy that includes a series of ever bigger launches. During this process your initial market research will be filled out by actual surveys that you conduct.

Confirming that your market research is accurate is vital. Knowing what's going on inside their heads is essential. Understanding their buying habits is a must not to mention their priorities and even their style.

Getting a clear picture of what keep your potential customers awake at night will give you the tools you need to design an effective product launch marketing plan.

Be Creative

The best example of this marketing principle is, of course, the Superbowl commercial.

A creative Superbowl commercial might spawn a catchphrase that becomes part of the everyday lexicon of millions of viewers.

If you can incorporate that kind of creative thinking into your marketing strategy, you'll exponentially increase your chances of success. Keep in mind, however, that your efforts at creativity should support and be related to your product.

Budweiser can produce a "What's Up?" commercial and make it memorable because they're already a known brand. The challenge for you is to create a memorable marketing strategy that not only gets attention but that clients immediately associate with your product.

Be Connected

Product launch marketing doesn't happen in a vacuum. There are competitors out there who, if they're not already offering a product that tries to do what yours does, soon will be.

And, there are a thousand resources out there, just waiting to take sides and recommend one over the other.

Accordingly, you need to be linked with your market. You need to connect with affiliated companies, with industry experts, with media and even with bloggers. Getting a popular blogger to do a product review, for example, can often give your launch that extra boost it needs to really make a difference.

Ultimately, the success of your product launch marketing strategy will be impacted greatly by these three factors. Of all the factors that go into a product launch that are under your control, these are the three most significant.

Master them and you will master your market.

Main Street Marketing Machine - Review

Main Street Marketing Machine is a brand new product from the creators of Traffic Geyser. This product is incredible. It has more information and tools than 90% of the programs out there. With Main Street Marketing Machine, you will succeed at MSM. However, before going into detail about all of these features, it's best to talk about Main Street Marketing.

Main Street Marketing is the idea of selling traffic or other resources to up and coming businesses. These are usually small businesses that are looking to rank for specific terms on Google or other search engines. The owners of these businesses usually don't have time to learn SEO principals, or web design. Because of this, they're willing to pay a lot of money if someone will do this for them. MSM can provide a full time income, but you need to have a large skill set to do it. Also, you have to find the perfect business opportunities. These two factors turn many internet marketers away from Main Street Marketing. With this product, though, all these problems are solved.

Main Street Marketing Machine can be used from anywhere in the world. Unlike some internet marketing programs that are limited to the U.S. only, anyone can use MSMM. This program is so great because it covers all areas of MSM. The main features are Main Street Marketing University, the Opportunity Finder, subscription to Traffic Geyser, and the Biz Box. MSMM focuses on teaching you all the essentials to main st. marketing, then gives you all the tools you need to succeed. For example, with the University program, you'll learn all about SEO. Then, in the Biz Box, you'll find a variety of properly optimized web page templates for you to use on your own sites. The goal of this whole program is to get you to the point where you can get your own websites ranking for the terms local businesses want. You can then sell them your traffic to make profit.

The best tool that Main Street Marketing Machine comes with is the Opportunity Finder. This is how you find local businesses that need your help. You enter in the location that you want to find businesses in, and Opportunity Finder does the rest. It will find local businesses in that region that are just starting. It will also include contact information, so that you can immediately offer your services. This means that you will always have potential customers.

In conclusion, Main Street Marketing Machine is the perfect resource for those interested in MSM. Even if you're not interested in selling your services to local businesses, it will still give you a huge head start in the internet marketing world. As you would expect, this program doesn't come cheap. With the amount of tools and resources you gain access to, though, it's worth it. Also, if you're not satisfied with MSMM within 30 days, you can easily get your money back.
